Rockstar Games has finally given Grand Theft Auto fans some news to celebrate. “Grand Theft Auto IV” will be released on the XBox 360 and the PS3 on October 16th, 2007.
In addition, fans will get to see a trailer of the game on March 29th at 3pm PDT. Rockstar has launched a new website for the game that simply has a countdown to when the trailer will be available.
The subject material for the game has been kept under tight wraps, with rumors being circulated for over a year now. What city will it be in? What “next gen” features will it support? Will gamers finally get a female protagonist? Some feel that GTA may move to London, some believe it will be set in Bogota, Colombia, while others feel it may be based on an American city like Chicago or New York.
