Looks like Diddy’s back, but not with a new album. He’s back in the controversial lime-light again after being accused of battery. On Sunday, a man accused Combs of battery outside of Hollywood’s acclaimed Roosevelt Hotel. Coincidentally, this happened right across the street from the Kodak Theatre, which housed Sunday’s Oscars. Maybe Diddy was upset that he didn’t have the opportunity to tap dance across stage?
TMZ.com reported that a real estate agent named Gerard Rechnitzer, age 27, filed the complaint. The report states that Rechnitzer was punched around 2:30 am by someone who had talked to his girlfriend. Unfortunately, the document does not actually make mention of Rap-icon Combs’ name, nor any of his illustrious aliases (Diddy, P. Diddy, Puffy, Puff Daddy, etc.).
Sean Combs’ publicist, Meghan Prophet, has not issued a statement yet on the report.
