Looks like Brandy is actually going to be sued in the case of the fatal crash that she caused last December. The parents of Awatef Aboudihaj, the woman that was killed are suing Moesha for $50 million. This wrongful-death suit claims that Brandy was driving recklessly when her Land Rover struck the back of Aboudihaj’s Honda.
“The accident was a terrible tragedy, and Brandy’s heart goes out to Awatef Aboudihaj’s family,” spokesman Allan Mayer said in a statement. “But for legal reasons we cannot comment on this lawsuit.”
This is more bad news for Brandy, a day after the California Highway Patrol recommended that she be charged with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter.
I guess it all comes down to if she’s found guilty or not. But $50M is a lot of money, regardless of who she is.
