NBC has signed “Law & Order : SVU” co-stars Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni to 2 year deals that represent significant raises. Variety is reporting that inside sources say that the annual salaries of each actor will be north of $6.5 Million.
The contract negotiations have been ongoing for weeks, and there was a lot of speculation that the show may have run its course if it coulnd’t sign the 2 actors. I can’t picture watching SVU without Mariska, she makes the show worth watching IMHO. The show will be entering its ninth season in the fall and seems to get better each year.
