jbchina.jpgJack Bauer has no problem dealing with terrorists, but couldn’t handle NFL Football this Saturday night. The 6th Season premiere of action-drama “24” had ok ratings in its first hour, averaging 15.1 Million viewers as it competed against the National Football League’s AFC Divisional game between the San Diego Chargers and the New England Patriots. However, according to preliminary data released by Nielsen Media Research, 24 picked up some steam once the game ended and the second hour averaged 16.2 Million viewers… despite going up against ABC’s ratings juggernaut, Desperate Housewives.

Those aren’t bad figures for 24, but they do represent a 21% drop from Season Five’s premiere one year ago. But, don’t really look into the ratings too much.. Jack Bauer is back as strong as ever by the looks of the first 4 hours of this season.

Well, it’s in its 6th season, most shows don’t survive past three seasons. The emmy was a high point this show can’t go on for much longer. I dont want to offend the hord of 24 fans , but i mean realistically what else can they do before its just ridiculous?
