Need a New Job in 2007: Compromise CTU

That’s right, the top job of new millennium seems to be compromising CTU. Everyone does it, so why not get down? If you don’t know what CTU is, it’s about time you found out. CTU, short for Counter Terrorist Unit, is the base of operations in television hit show ‘24.’ The show stars Jack Bauer, played by Kiefer Sutherland, a no holds bard bad government agent bad a$$. If you want to get a real feel for the character, you’ll just have to get the dvds. Words can’t explain who Jack Bauer is, you’ll just have to see him in action for yourself.

CTU’s been compromised in every season of ‘24′ save season 3, where 24’s brilliant director of photography led us to assume Gael, played by Jesse Borrego was a mole.

Let’s review some ways to compromise CTU:

• Get a job at CTU, then sell secrets for extra cash
• Sneak into CTU dressed as service men and plant bombs
• Get hired by the white house under false pretense. Then let accidentally let an assassin into CTU.
• Hire a few drug addicts to beat up the head of CTU and steal his/her badge. Then create a new badge using the stolen ID. Use the new ID to gain access to CTU and plant some neuro-toxin inside CTU. Kill over 70% of the agents. Hey IT COULD HAPPEN

And who can forget our favorite CTU mole, Nina. She painted Jack’s character from the get go. Not only did she infilatrate CTU, but she murdered Jack’s wife only a year after cajoling Jack into sleeping with her. Well, we’ll just say Jack was forcefully coerced to honor our hero. To think he actually chose willingly to sleep with Nina, just makes the Bag Man’s skin crawl.

‘24′ starts up again for its sixth season on January 14th with a two hour premier. When last we saw Jack the Chinese captured him. So hopefully there will be no CTU compromisers this season. Then we’ll know that every 3rd season, the writers over at ‘24′ take a break from compromising CTU.
