The Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival is back for its sixth year running. This annual event, founded by Brian Posen, first opened in January 2002. It celebrates the best in local and national sketch comedy. Between January 4th and 14th, audiences can take in more than 100 events, including performances, workshops and discussions. Featuring appearances by many of Chicago ’s own sketch troupes and the best groups from across the country. This year the festival honors Second City, iO, Annoyance and Comedy Sportz. Be sure to stop by for over two weeks of guaranteed laughter and good times.
