Funnyman David Letterman has signed a contract to remain host of The Late Show until at least 2010, CBS Corp. announced Monday. The deal has been in the works for a while, with Letterman reportedly agreeing to it back in September.
With the length of the contract extension, it looks like Letterman will still be around when “Tonight” Show host Jay Leno passes the reins over to Conan O’Brien in 2009. CBS should be happy and fans too.. I’ve always personally liked Letterman more than Leno, so it will be great to see him read off a few more years of top ten lists.
