Warner Bros. animated flick, “Happy Feet“, took number one at the box office this weekend. The movie about penguins took in an impressive $42.3 million, which was enough to beat out the latest James Bond movie, “Casino Royale,” at $40.6 million. That’s not too bad a start for Daniel Craig, the latest actor to play the coveted role of Agent 007.
Here’s how the rest of the movies did:
1. “Happy Feet,” $42.3 million.
2. “Casino Royale,” $40.6 million.
3. “Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan,” $14.35 million.
4. “The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause,” $8.2 million.
5. “Flushed Away,” $6.8 million.
