Cosby Settles Sexual Assault Case

Actor/Comedian Bill Cosby settled his lawsuit today with a woman who accused him of sexually assaulting her in at his mansion in Cheltenham. The plaintiff claimed Cosby drugged her. Cosby stated that he only have given the woman Benadryl when she complained of stress and sleeping problems.

The woman filed a lawsuit against Cosby a year after the reported incident, claiming Montgomery County prosecutors declined to file criminal charges.

Both the plaintiff’s attorney and Cosby’s attorney declined any further comment on the settlement, the details of which have not been disclosed.

The plaintiff previously worked for Temple University in Pennsylvania, where Cosby serves as a trustee. Temple has no plans to end its relationship with Cosby over the incident.
