After a seven year marriage, actress Reese Witherspoon, winner of the Academy Award for best-actress in 2005’s “Walk the Line,” and actor Ryan Phillippe are ending their relationship. The estranged couple married after co-starring in the film “Cruel Intensions” in 1999. The couple have two children, Deacon and Ava.
The couple’s publicist, Nanci Ryder, shared the following remarks: “We are saddened to announce that Reese and Ryan have decided to formally separate…They remain committed to their family and we ask that you please respect their privacy and the safety of their children at this time.”
